Job Description

  • The job is for a full-time training mentor (40 hours per week)
  • The role will involve the delivery of various aspects of our training which will involve travelling to all the areas of The Bridge homes and training venues.
  • In addition, you will be asked to support in other areas of staff training and development which include: leading shadow shift days; mentoring and guiding new staff in their role as support workers; completing new staff competency checks, supervisions andknowledge checks; supporting staff to complete their Care Certificate and generally supporting the training needs of the service.
  • Whilst the focus of the role is primarily to deliver training there may be times when you will be asked to support the needs of the service in other ways which may include providing direct support for the people we support. This will ensure that you haveexperiences to draw upon when delivering training.
