Job Description

DriverSalary: £9.90 per hourFull time roles - 36 hours, 24hr part-time rolesPermanentSnaith, DN14 9HZDriving licence essentialDriver required for people carrier shuttling from Doncaster, Leeds and Castleford to Snaith and sister homes (Roundhay, Garforth, Castleford) as required.Looking for a job that really makes a differenceLook no further. We are looking for a driver for transporting our dedicated team of support workers to our services and the people we support to school and activities.The roleWe require a driver to transport Support Workers to our homes from designated pick-up points at city centre locations or from other services. There may also be a requirement to transport the people we support to activities and school settings (accompaniedby support staff). The vehicle is a standard 9-seater people carrier. No enhanced driving licence is required for this role.The hours for the role will require availability for pick-up and drop off morning and evening being:

  • 7am to 10am
  • 8pm to 11pm
We require
  • We require seven day cover for this role so are looking for candidates to offer a minimum of 4 days cover for this role up to a maximum of 6 days on a rota basis. There will be a requirement to work some weekends as part of the role on a rota basis sharedwith one other person.
  • To meet our insurance requirements drivers must be aged 25-70 years with a valid UK driving licence and at least 2 years driving experience.
  • No enhanced driving licence is required for this role
  • The role does not require any experience of or requirement for direct support.
