Job Description

Are you passionate about teaching Spanish and inspiring students to become proficient in the languageRole: Spanish TeacherStart Date: SeptemberLocation: Birmingham B27Salary: £150-180 / Day (Depending on experience)Contract: Long Term - Full TimeReed Education are working with a Secondary school in Birmingham and are currently recruiting for a Spanish Teacher on a full-time basis to teach Spanish to key stage 3 and 4.This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to make a meaningful impact and foster a love for the Spanish language.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging Spanish lesson plans tailored to students proficiency levels and learning objectives.
  • Teach Spanish language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, utilizing various teaching methods and resources.
  • Promote cultural understanding and appreciation by incorporating authentic materials, literature, and activities related to Spanish-speaking countries.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate Spanish language learning across different subjects.
  • Stay updated with current trends, methodologies, and technologies related to language teaching, incorporating innovative approaches into the curriculum.
Requirements:
  • QTS or Equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
  • Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and excellent command of English.
  • Proven experience in teaching Spanish to students of varying proficiency levels, preferably in an educational institution.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish language structure, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural aspects.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and resources to engage students effectively.
