Childrens Registered Home Manager - BirminghamSalary from £38,000 dependent upon experienceProSkillz Ltd is recruiting a Registered Manager to register and manage a new EBD childrens home in the Birmingham area.This is a great opportunity for an existing Registered Manager looking for a new challenge or change of environment. This 2 Bedded EBD Childrens Home has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and need a manger that aims to create an outstandingand positive environment for vulnerable young children in their care and firmly believe that the team are central to helping achieve this.As the Registered Manager you will have input into all aspects of running the home including providing professional support, guidance and supervision to the staff team, with some support from the Directors when/if required. The ideal candidate must havethe following:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
A minimum of 1-year experience as a manager/deputy in residential childrens care.
Understanding of a variety of different therapeutic models.
Experience dealing with Children dealing with emotional behavioural and learning disabilities
Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to delegate effectively
An ability to work both under own initiative and as part of a management team and overall team whilst maintaining professional relationship boundaries with non-management staff.
Detailed understanding of Childrens Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and other relevant legislation.
Be creative and able to use your own initiative and manage in challenging situations.
Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own transport
