There is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Tier 2 construction company, who are nationwide and operate in various sectors such as healthcare, education, industrial, retail, sports and leisure, commercial, and residential.The RoleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting on all commercial aspects of projects, providing commercial support and advice to your team to aid decision making, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with the contractualrequirements. You will assist with monitoring contract progress, control costs against agreed budgets, prepare and agree interim valuations and final accounts, prepare and agree any necessary claims for reimbursements and for loss and expense and liaise withthe customers and third parties on all commercial matters.Your key duties include preparation and analysis of budgets, procurement of the Supply Chain and preparation of order documentation, assessment and certification of subcontractor interim payments, identification and management of commercial risks, assistwith accurate and timely CVR reports and ensure effective interaction between the commercial and operational site teams.A successful candidate will be degree qualified in the Quantity Surveying field, have relevant construction experience and commercial awareness, excellent numerical skills, be highly organised and have a good knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.Whats in it for youYou will benefit from a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 along with 33 days holiday and generous pension contributions and you will have the chance to work on exciting projects.Apply today or for more information contact Dolcee Freer-Gallagher on or at and I will be happy to help.
