Job Description

Here at CDSL, our aim is to be the first choice for home appliance after-sales service, spare parts and accessories.With over fifty years of experience, we are the largest independent home appliance and spare parts distribution organisation within the UK working with a number of household brands including Dyson, Whirlpool, Hotpoint, Hoover and Bosch to name a few!We have an exciting opportunity for a Merchandiser to join our ever-expanding business.Within this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of Merchandising, ensuring that all categories, across all channels, are accurately represented and remain up-to-date. Utilising your strong analytical and problem-solving skills you will analyse data quickly and accurately to identify ways to improve the customer journey and drive overall business growth.As our Merchandiser, the role will involve

  • Launching new product(s) or ranges and edits to the site, aligned to the appropriate calendar
  • Maintaining evergreen content, edits and landing pages e.g brand pages, category pages and promotions
  • Continuously reviewing the competitor landscape to identify new digital opportunities and site improvements
  • Collaborating on e-commerce email marketing campaigns
  • Working with the broader Marketing team on digital marketing campaigns including social media & social selling content
  • Ensuring that all pages are effectively merchandised, identifying bestsellers, key trends & stories
  • Initiating and set up weekly reports, capturing relevant KPI data which in turn will assist in improving customer proposition, journey & conversion and to drive sales & margin.
  • As our Merchandiser we need you to have:
  • Experience in Merchandising, Buying or currently an Online Merchandiser; preferably online
  • Experience using analytic tools such as google analytics is essential
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workload and achieve deadlines
  • I.T. proficient with advanced knowledge of Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written language skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Confident, with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Highly analytical, commercially astute and numerate
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence stakeholders
  • Good communication skills, a proactive approach and a "can-do" attitude
  • Customer-first approach
