Company description:Electrical and mechanical engineers...Are you looking for commercially focussed, cutomer facing role in a challenging and fast paced industrydormakabais the world leader in entrance systems and security technology, developing a wide range of products and applications for the commercial, industrial and retail sectorsWe are now recruiting for aTECHNICAL SURVEYOR / ESTIMATOR based in the North East of the UKto produce quotations for our clients through face-to-face site surveys and detailed estimates, providing technical proposals and explanations toour customers and contributing to the overall success of our delivery business.Job description:THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: YOUR TASKSAs a Technical Surveyor, you will be required to undertake site surveys on new industrial / automatic doors, detailing customer requirements for quoting. This will include surveys for damaged industrial / automatic doors, identifying defects, and advisingon remedial works. Once surveyed, you will produce technical estimates and log these on our CRM system Salesforce. This may also include preparing photographic site reports as required.All quotes will need to ensure compliance with all current legislation,training where required will be provided.Collaborating with the surveyor team, as well as the delivery branch, you will be responsible for driving engagement with regional customers through interactions and face to face visits as well as improving the speed of quote submission and reducing agedquotes on the shared dashboard.Profile description:WE PUT TRUST IN YOU: YOUR SKILLS

We are looking for Surveyors who have a good knowledge of engineering, preferably having work experience in a similar position. Previous experience may also include working in the Building and Supplies Industry, ideally with Industrial, Manual and / orAutomatic Doors.
You will be a competent user of Microsoft as well as have experience using a CRM system. As a surveyor, you will mainly use Salesforce, but all training will be provided.
You will be responsible for your own diary; therefore, you will have experience of prioirtising to ensure you meet client deadlines as well as strong communication and customer service experience.
You will support the North East Branch, and as the role is home based you will be required to live within the North East of England.
A full driving license is essential for this position, as you will be regularly travelling to sites.
