Job Description

Simon Acres Recruitment are seeking an experienced Plumbing and Heating Manager to work for a successful builders merchant in North Yorkshire. Our client is looking for someone who is customer service focused, highly motivated and keen to succeed. A starting salary of up to £50,000 plus commission and additional benefits. The salary is negotiable for the right candidate.The Role:

  • Managing the plumbing and heating department of the business
  • Working closely with other team members to ensure that the department is run successfully
  • Working with other departments to grow the business
  • Highlighting and implementing new processes when required
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Guiding customers through the range of products
  • Continuing to learn the industry and keep up to date with commercial changes
  • Working with customers throughout the entire process
  • Proactively developing relationships with clients, customers, and internal staff
  • Providing product advice, support, and knowledge
  • Dealing with queries over the phone, in person and via email
The Candidate:
  • Proven experience within management
  • Knowledge of the plumbing and heating industry
  • Previous experience within a customer facing role
  • Someone who takes pride in themselves and their work
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, keen, and hard working
  • Energetic, welcoming, and friendly
