Are you currently working as a Support Worker but struggling with the long hours and night shifts Or have previous experience in Support Work Perhaps you have considered the possibility of working in schools already If so, AK teaching would love to hearfrom you!AK Teaching are seeking Support Workers to come and work within our partner SEN (Special Educational Needs) schools in North Tyneside and surrounding areas.As a Support Worker in our SEN provisions, you will be working with children who have been diagnosed with ASD or SEMH. The ages of the children range from 2-19 years old so you need to be comfortable working across these ages. The role may involve personalcare which will be discussed at registration. Experience of supporting individuals with special educational needs in the past would also be beneficial!You will typically be working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm (4:30pm is the latest, some schools finish at 3:30pm or 4pm). No weekends and no school holidays. We offer a guaranteed work scheme to the right candidates and continually offer free CPD training,throughout the academic year.
