Job Description

The CompanyMTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a prestigious manufacturing company in the Shiremoor area.The RoleWe are looking for candidates with warehouse / production operative experience. The role would see you carrying out general warehouse duties; picking and packing, quality inspection, running machinery and completing duties for despatch and inventory as designatedby your supervisor.

  • Daily meetings with the team leader or supervisor.
  • To help prioritise workloads within the department / designated warehouse area.
  • Inspecting plastic components, checking for burn marks, blisters, scratches, packing the items into boxes,
  • Overviewing machines, automated equipment, working in clean room conditions.
  • Should have working knowledge of all warehouse departments and understand the systems used.
  • Picking and packing a range of different products.
  • Relabelling and quality inspecting products.
  • Repetitive work throughout the day
  • Maintain the companys health & safety standards at all times.
The Candidate
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse / production environment
  • A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
  • Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary.
The Hours
  • Week one: Monday, Tuesday Days and Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights (60 hours)
  • Week two: Wednesday, Thursday Days (24 hours)
  • Week three: Monday, Tuesday Nights and Friday, Saturday and Sunday days (60 hours)
  • Week four: Wednesday, Thursday nights (24 hours)
The Pay
  • £10.91ph
