This will include posting and reconciling daily cash receipts, bank statements and bank accounts, actingas the point of contact for external auditors and analysing and investigating monthly cost centre budgetvariances.Working closely with theCommercial Accountant, you will provide support withpricing updatesas well as thereconciliation and posting of retro invoices.Additionally, you will provide financial assistance with stock control, assist inthecompletion of VATreturnsand review and postemployee expenses.About YouTo join us as anAssistant Accountant, you will need:- To be AAT qualified or have aCIMA or ACCA part qualification-Demonstrable experience of delivering system improvementsandproducing accurate anddetailed reports on timeandto tight deadlines- The ability to develop and cementrelationships quickly and effectively- To be computerliterate in Microsoft programssuch asWord and Excel- A full, validdriving licenceOther organisations may call this roleAccountant, Part-Qualified Accountant, Accounts Junior, Junior Accountant, Junior Management Accountant, or Junior Finance Manager.WebrecruitandThatchersare equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
