Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for BAE Systems as part of their Air Sector based in Samlesbury, As a Supply Chain Specialist you will be part of SMSCMC UK. The job holder will be required to manage an Order book of priority orders to meet therequirements for our Typhoon Availability contract for Salam. You will be responsible for end to end delivery of assets to the customer. The role holder will be required to manage an A01 & A02 priority orderbook for delivery of critical items to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to deliver assets in line with customer requirements and escalate key issues to management when required. You will overseeorders throughout the whole supply chain until assets are delivered to the customer, liaising directly with various stakeholders including SMSCMC KSA, Wincanton, Eurofighter, International Trade solutions, and other internal and external organistations asrequired. You will be required to prepare for and lead Supplier and Customer facing order book reviews & conduct meetings at all levels and present up to senior management level including at Performance Reviews.
