Job Description

Are you a Buyer, actively studying CIPS Have you got experience of working in textiles Can you source globallyThis is a newly created role with an innovative textiles manufacturer in Lancashire. Theyre looking for someone fairly early on in their career who they can mentor and develop. There is a clear route for progression.What You Get

About You
  • Youll be a tenacious and driver Buyer / Assistant Buyer looking for a role that you can really make your own!
  • Its essential that youve commenced your CIPS studies - maybe currently at level 4/5.
  • You should be confident with outstanding negotiation skills.
  • It is imperative that you can commit to lots of overseas travel.
  • You will have previously sourced raw materials including fabric and trims; a background in garments would be hugely advantageous.
About The Job
  • Youll join as a Raw Materials Buyer.
  • They are looking for someone who is hungry for personal development and who will transition in to a management role within a couple of years.
  • Youll set up and manage a global supply chain; sourcing new suppliers from around the world.
  • With your strong negotiation skills, youll get the best prices every time.
  • There will be lots of travel to factories abroad for various purposes including stock takes and call offs.
