A Supply Chain Professional is required to support and manage the Supply Chain Logistical activities undertaken by the SMSCMC-UK Logistics Team to deliver assets to the KSA customers and its partner companies. Applications are sought from individuals seekinga challenging role that offers opportunities for career development within SMSCMC-UKLogistics Operations Team. Supply Chain Logistic Planners play a fundamental role in supporting the Customer Operational requirements across our KSA Programmes including the introduction of In-Kingdom Industrial Partners (IKIP). The post-holder will be required to co-ordinate and delivercustomer requirements within stringent timescales. Interaction with key stakeholders across all business functions is integral to the role. Duties will involve; Operation Management - Progression of day to day issues impacting the availability of delivered spares to support front line operations of Typhoon aircraft in KSA. Liaising with the Warehousing and Distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of assets through the Defence Logistics Centre (DLC) to required locations. Progression of assets through the PDA Process using the IFS App7 toolset on to ITS for export shipment to KSA. Working closely with the order book management and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of the required items through the DLC Resolution of emergent work to minimise program delays including provision of supply chain support to Company Working Party and other direct delivery teams Customer / Supplier Interface Liaison with the RSAF Customer and the wider Supply Chain teams to progress assets. Liaison with Export based staff to ensure timely equipment availability. Liaison with the In Kingdom Partner Company (IKIP) PM Team. Supply Chain Process & Procedural Management Support the development of DLC processes, particularly the application of lessons learnt to future programmes Contribute to the development of a One team culture and operational model with Export based staff. The role demands an individual with excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus the ability to build and foster robust and collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and key suppliers is essential. The successful applicantwill be flexible, self-motivated and have strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. Knowledge and experience of the Supply Chain is essential to the role, in particular strong IFS App7 skills are essential. In addition an understanding of the wider procurement ordering systems will be advantageous to the role. The position is primarily based at Samlesbury, working on a hybrid basis, with some travel between BAE sites and to the Logistics provider, Wincanton being required.
