Supply Chain Professional; 12 month contract; 37 hours a week; £15.21 per hour; based at Samlesbury A Supply Chain Professional is required to cover maternity leave for 12 month for BAE Systems working within their Air Sector, this role entails E&I spares order book management for Oman. As an Order Book Manager, you will be required to effectively work as part of the Typhoon Fast Jet Support team ( Management & Delivery), liaising closely and collaborating with other Fast Jet internal stakeholders, with the intention of maintaining a highstandard for each of the multiple customers we work with. You will establish relationships with the supply facing Procurement teams to maintain topical forecasts and shipment information. This information will be fed into the relevant internal and external customers with the drive to continuously improve our way ofworking. The role will be specifically looking at a group of Suppliers linked to a certain type of equipment and in some cases some very complex equipment which has specialist processes that will need to be adhered to. The contracts involved in this role are Oman Spares Your main responsibilities as an Supply Chain Order Book Manager will involve: - Being involved in Order Book reviews, to establish forecasts, shipments and the relationships that should take place within the reviews. - To maintain a number of internal I.T systems topical with latest information - To understand a multiple contract order concept to enable you to fulfil the role properly. - Query Management within the business to assist in resolving engineering type queries. - Management of a customer Spares order book - Update the LN, IFS and Baan databases with the customer order details ensuring the order is placed within 7 days and ensure the delivery forecast date is available within 12 weeks of order placement and 90% schedule adherence is achieved for delivery to customer. - Manage weekly/monthly Procurement and Customer orderbook reviews to achieve failed FDDs over 12 weeks and Overdue FDDs, update and amend the IT systems accordingly. - Regular interface with Customer and Procurement. Your skills and qualifications: Experience in an end to end Supply Chain solution. Experienced in Supply Chain Software. Competence in MS Office package, in particular Excel. What were looking for in you: Ideally you will have experience in Supply Chain roles, be flexible, self-motivated and have good interpersonal and team working skills. You will be proactive in identifying customer needs/requirements, and translating these into supply facing requirements. This will require good analytical, problem solving and communication skills as well as excellent team working across the broad spectrum of the wider maintenance support organisation. The candidate must be good with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook. Good Communication, Team Working and Motivation skills are essential - Hybrid Workingthere will be a requirement to attend site 60% (3 days per week) of the time.
