We are looking for a presentable, charismatic individual with a proven track record in successfully selling a product range to launch, develop and run a new show site for our clients who specialise in e-commerce enabled sales of timber buildings. Although this role involves being responsible for a new site, the core business itself is well established and respected with excellent customer reviews.This position would suit someone who has experience in face to face selling with a lot of telephone work (such as estate agency or car showrooms) with a general interest in or knowledge of construction, buildings, DIY, garden and landscape; a practical person capable of maintaining the appearance of the show site including the use of an electric pallet truck. You should be approachable and professional with a passion for consultative selling through thorough product knowledge and really understanding your customers needs. As well as selling you should be well-organised and computer literate (familiar with CRMs and Excel) with the ability to manage and complete sales transactions. In short, this will be like running your own small business but with the support of the business owners.Initially this position will be on a fixed term contract basis for 1 year with the intention of converting to a permanent role.Basic salary £18000 plus uncapped commission.Full time hours, 5 days a week which include Saturday & Sunday plus 3 days in the week.Ideally the successful candidate will start in January 2021 so as to be fully prepared and established for the busy trading season after Easter.Due to the location of the site a car and full driving license are essential.
