Job Description

Sales Support Assistant - TravelThis award winning Tour Operator are looking for a Sales Support Assistant to join their friendly team. You will be liasing with suppliers and providing post booking support to customers, providing exceptional service at all times. Sales Support Assistant- Role & Responsibilities:

  • To process booking requests with land & air suppliers on all request bookings.
  • Maintain an excellent relationship with suppliers at all times, delivering a professioanl and courteous service.
  • Liaise with customers on the phone and by email to confirm bookings and to ensure that all their requirements are met. Switch sell where nevessary to alternative dates / products.
  • Maximise on all Sales opportunities and up sell wherever possible.
  • Book flights either through the Airline Direct or by using Amadeus whilst adhering to the Airline Procedures and contracts.
    • Sales Support Assistant - Skills & Experience Required:
  • Proven experience in the travel industry ideally within a Tour Operator.
  • Excellent administration and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work to deadlines, work well under pressure and prioritise workloads
  • Excellent cusotmer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Amadeus would be an advantage.
  • Previous successful candidatres have come from a background of Operations, Customer Services, Sales Support, After Sales within the travel industry.
    • Sales Support Assistant - Additional Information:
  • Salary up to £18,500 dependent on experience - plus commission.
  • Includes weekend working, approx 1 in 4.
  • Hours are 9 to 5 or 10 to 6
