Summary The National Trust undertakes a significant amount of its work in the shape of projects and programmes. These contribute hugely to the care of our buildings and places, the financial sustainability of the Trust and the overall achievement of ourgoals. In this role, youll support project managers by ensuring that the project and programme information produced is accurate, timely and proportionate to the scale and complexity of the project. Youll make best use of information and data for governance, oversightof project progress and will share learning within your region and across the Trust. Youll be a conduit for advising our project community on the Project Management Framework and governance process, supporting them to deliver their projects well. Interviews will be held on 5th May. Youll work as part of our internal consultancy service, which includes a wide range of specialists and project managers. Your base location will be the office hub in Rowallane Garden, Saintfield, but there will be hybrid working arrangements with a balance of office, property and remote working. What youll be doing Youll provide support to project managers in producing complete,accurate and timely project reporting. Youll ensure that the Trust makes best use of project data, including internal reporting, to support governance, oversight, learning and intervention. Youll provide support and advice to projects across the region regardingproject performance and issues and support project managers, senior leadership teams, sponsors and clients in the use of the Project Management Framework. Who were looking for Youll have; Experience of working on projects, with an excellent understandingof project reporting processes with good data management and processing skills, including report writing An understanding of project management frameworks, including project governance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including persuasion,diplomacy and influencing Excellent organisational and planning skills Ability to work with autonomy, be accountable for your own work and also work well in a team, building relationships and sharing ideas in an open and constructive way Practical experienceof providing project management support and advice Experience of collating, maintaining, analysing and preparing data to provide reports to stakeholders at different levels of seniority.
