Summary This is a key role in delivering the National Trusts ambition to support Divis & the Black Mountain to become one of the most accessible urban upland green spaces in Northern Ireland.As Project Officer you’ll support the delivery of a programme of projects and activities which will help us to meet our strategic ambition, most notably through the Divis – A View to the Future project.‘Divis - A View to the Future’ is made possible with the support of The National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery players. What youll be doing Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll support the delivery of a programme of projects and activities covering areas such as peatland restoration, upland trail improvement, restoration of heritage buildings, land choices, and community engagement & participation.As Project Officer, along with supporting on large projects, you’ll have the opportunity to take a leading role on small projects. You’ll take an active part in our project workstreams and have responsibilities including financial reporting, project administration,procurement of specialist consultants and contractors as well as supporting the roll out of our Community Activity Plan.Your contractual location will be Rowallane Stable Yard, Saintfield, however, there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust.
