Summary Were looking for a Cook to join us in our Food & Beverage Team at Rowallane.The Hours:37.5 hours a week.Shift patterns - typically working weekdays with occasional weekend & evening work when there is an event being held by the property.The Salary: £21,021 - £21,450 per annum dependent upon experience.Duration:PermanentInterview Date: 22/23March What its like to work here To find out more about what its like to work within Food & Beverage at the National Trust, clickhere towatch our video.Most of our locations are not accessible by public transport and therefore we encourage you to consider how you would commute here before you apply.Its a 7 day a week operation, opening from 10am-4pm in the winter, and 10-6 in the summer.Transport: Your own mode of transport is welcomed, but there are also good local bus links which take you close to the property.Within this role, there is the opportunity for you to work across 2 properties close by within the portfolio. This can be discussed further at interview stage. What youll be doing Youll enjoy preparing food from scratch using fresh/seasonal ingredients and will be confident with creating bakes,making, soups, stews, sausage rolls and preparing & presenting food to order served directly to the customers over busy lunchtime periods.You will receive a bespoke induction, allergen/food safety training and the coaching required to fulfil in role.
