Engineering Team leaderSalary £37,00 per hour LTD Continental shift pattern Days Panama Corby, Kettering, Market Harborough, LeicesterThis role is to support why the company recruits for a permanent candidateYour Profile The successful candidate will be a time-served Engineering team leader with relevant qualifications in Engineering, as well as supervisory experience. You should be competent in working with heavy and light manufacturing equipment. You will be an effectiveproblem solver with good diagnostic skills. Computer Literate and have basic administrative skills. Existing experience within food Packaging, Plastics, and FMCG would be beneficial but not essential. It would also be desirable if you can offer knowledge of Site Production Processes, leading edge manufacturing techniques, continuous improvement, and 5S techniques. Being a strong manager is a requirement of this role you must have experience of one to onesand appraisalsThe RoleReporting to the Maintenance manager and as the Engineering team leader, your role will be to manage the workload of the Engineering department as well as be expected to carry out reactive and preventative maintenance. You will be responsible for the EngineeringTeam, the Engineering Workshop, Contractors, and H&S. You will be carrying out mechanical and electrical work including, but not limited to; installations, repair, maintenance, working on PLCs (Mainly fault finding), welding/fabricating, fitting, meeting KPIs(Quality, Cost, Health & Safety). You will also maintain the systems, identify necessary parts and equipment required for repairs & improvements, order spares & equipment, make rational and informed decisions with regard to breakdown solutions and completionof individual projects
