Job Description

Mortgage BrokerSouthend on SeaWe are very pleased to be working with a Mortgage Brokerage, on their search for a Mortgage Advisor to join the growing team.Your role will be to source and manage all sales leads through to completion. This role will require both sales and advising skills with utmost focus on customer service.The individual will need to be motivated working to targets, focused on positive outcomes and can objection handle when dealing with the Customers or Introducers to a high standard. They must be comfortable with taking ownership of cases, driving excellentcustomer service and prioritise their individual workloads.Responsibilities:

  • To take ownership of Leads, covert them in to submitted applications, drive excellent customer service & proactively prioritise business requirements.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Maximizing interactions to full potential to increase new business levels
  • Maintain excellent product and criteria knowledge
  • To liaise with team leader on all caseissues
  • Demonstrate core values and behaviours
  • Reasonably anticipate, minimise and manage operational risk
Skills and Experience:
  • Buy to Let & Residential Mortgage experience essential.
  • CeMap or Equivalent Qualification
  • At least two years’ experience of mortgage advising, dealing with customers and submitting cases.
  • Commercial mortgage experience advantageous.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use sourcing systems and fin tech platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal including superb telephone manner
