* Competitive Salary* Great Staff Benefits* Excellent CompanyJob Title: PCB Design EngineerLocation: Pulborough Employment Type: Permanent Salary: £Competitive (apply for details)Benefits:* Private Health* Company pension - employer contribution 5* Death in service benefit* Group sickness benefit* A range of family-friendly policies including flexible workingMain objectivesDesign of PCB layouts, electrical schematics, electrical diagrams, assisting in mechanical design and supporting Manufacturing Engineering.Key responsibilities* PCB design for high voltage power supplies and control electronics.* Schematic entry from design engineering sketches.* Creating and modifying 3D models and assemblies including piece part information.* Generating and maintaining part information and bills of materials.* Maintaining PCB library.* Maintaining the DCC drawing system.* Producing system schematics, wiring diagrams and schedules.* Responsibility for adhering to the Companys ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental and Health and Safety management systems.* Keep informed and support IS09001 Quality and IS014001 Environmental requirements and improvement activities. Commit to achieving the Company business, Quality and Environmental objectives and policies.Skills, Knowledge and Experience* HNC or equivalent in relevant discipline.* Proven expertise and experience in PCB design (preferably to IPC Standard) and mechanical design with knowledge of analogue, digital and surface mount technologies.* Computer literate and knowledge of MS Office.* Proficiency in CAD packages for PCB and mechanical design (experience in Cadstar, eCadstar, Board Modeller, Inventor and AutoCAD are a distinct advantage).The above responsibilities are not exhaustive and you may be required to fulfil other duties and responsibilities from time to time for which you are reasonably qualified.TPA are a specialist recruitment agency recruiting on behalf of our client.If you think you are a close fit for this position, please do apply and we will also register you for any upcoming positions that may be suitable.
