Job Description

Demand Planner Position Available in Pulborough - Permanent RoleWe are currently seeking a Demand Planner to become an integral part of our clients team. This role is crucial for the seamless execution of the production cycle, focusing on the planning, scheduling, and coordination of finished goods and assemblies. Thisposition is perfect for individuals who excel in a mixed MRP/Lean environment and possess strong capabilities in data analysis and forecasting.Main Objectives:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate the flow of finished goods and assemblies throughout the production cycle.
  • Work collaboratively with management to align production schedules with both customer demands and company objectives.
  • Expedite processes within internal manufacturing departments as necessary.
  • Function effectively within a mixed MRP/Lean manufacturing environment.
  • Identify, evaluate, and report on potential challenges within the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze global customer demand and generate accurate forecast projections for various product families.
  • Maintain and adjust forecast module settings within the ERP system to ensure accuracy.
  • Contribute to the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process through detailed data gathering and analysis.
  • Develop presentations for monthly SIOP meetings, focusing on improving revenue, on-time delivery, and inventory accuracy.
  • Balance Supply vs. Demand to refine the Supply Chain strategy, identifying challenges and proposing actionable solutions for senior leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across multiple levels and functions.
  • Proficient in ERP Systems, with a focus on demand forecasting modules.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver results through influence rather than direct authority.
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills, capable of synthesizing and interpreting information effectively.
  • Experience in problem-solving within dynamic and high-pressure environments.
  • Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English are highly regarded.
  • Six Sigma and LEAN certifications or experience preferred.
  • Availability to travel globally (up to 10%).
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience in customer demand and production control planning.
  • SIOP Certification, APICS certification, and Change Management/ADKAR training are advantageous.
Special Skills:
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, with Glovia experience beneficial.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proven track record of leading demand planning teams and improving forecast accuracy and inventory optimization through statistical analysis.
  • Skilled in data analysis and presenting to senior management.
