Job Description

Warehouse Shift Supervisor (PM)Hours - 11.45am - 8.15pm Monday to Friday (Contacted are 12pm - 8.30pm - 15 minute either side due to covid regulations), 2 hours every other Saturday as overtime Based in Prudhoe - Must drive due to location - no public transportSalary £9.90ph Kube Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our client in the Prudhoe area. Excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse supervisor who is willing to learn and grow with an expanding company.We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor for a busy warehouse in Prudhoe, you should be firm but fair, a hands on, lead by example manager who is approachable and organised.Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor

  • Responsible for a team of 32 (88 at peak)
  • Being firm but fair in your approach
  • Closing warehouse after shift/locking up
  • Day to day supervision of warehouse and team
  • Key holder - includes call out (extra payment for this)
  • Coordinating - staff rotas, missing orders, invoices for pick and pack
  • Raising credits
  • Assisting in product recalls
  • Orgainsing teams to meet delivery cut off times daily and twice daily working to time targets
  • Ordering of consumables - bags, boxes etc.
  • Using in-house ordering system - AWARDS
  • Issuing Drivers manifests - signing drivers out
  • Conducting random staff searches (adhering to covid regulations)
  • Yearly Stock takes
  • Product stock checks
  • Impeccable cleaning and eye for detail including spotting hazards
  • Assisting Warehouse Manager with team appraisals/performance management
  • Able to work to Strict deadlines and processes
  • Supervising and supporting the team and warehouse manager
  • Hands on role - you will be required to lead by example

  • Hold a current Counterbalance and reach licence
  • Refrigeration experience within a warehouse - i.e. storage of cold stock at certain temperatures
  • Experience of conducting performance reviews
  • Good level of Maths and English
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Management experience/Supervisor
  • Excellent attention to detail
