Job Description

We look forward to hearing from you!MPLOY is looking for a permanent Accounts Assistant to join our highly valued and well-established client in Poole or Hamworthy, Dorset.Why should you be interested Our client is offering:

  • a salary of £25,000 to £26,000 PA dependant on your experience.
  • a family friendly working pattern of Monday to Friday with working hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm. Our client is offering a 37.5hr per week contract with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break daily.
  • a generous company pension where our client pays the full 8% workplace contribution. A saving value of £1,250 to £1,300 PA.
  • 28 days of holiday PA, including Bank Holidays.

Still interested In return for these excellent benefits our client is looking for a candidate who:
  • has some experience working within an accounts/finance practice or industry setting.
  • likes diverse work. In post you can expect to: process purchase/sales invoices/orders, administer expense requests, pay creditors, handle petty cash, process credit card payments, control credit, manage our client’s cash book, manage large purchase & salesledgers, reconcile company bank accounts/credit cards, liaise with third parties/suppliers, update company procedures, assist with the management of property rentals, administer our client’s fleet of company vehicles, order supplies and undertake general administrativetasks…diverse eh
  • has an Association of Accounting Technicians’ L2, L3 or L4 qualification or is qualified via experience.
  • is a team player with fantastic interpersonal/soft skills. You’ll be as comfortable working in a busy head office environment as you are working alone.
  • is highly literate & numerate with an exact attention to detail/high degree of accuracy.
  • is system savvy. You’ll be conversant with the Microsoft Office package, have intermediate MS Excel skills and a knowledge of Sage 50 is highly desirable to our client.
  • is an innovative, dynamic & self-sufficient person.
  • can think outside the box and is solution focused.
  • has a full and clean driving licence and can travel between our clients’ Poole and Hamworthy offices.
