Job Description

Production Operative (Bulk)Salary: £21,500.00-£24,500.00 plus overtime, free parkingPermanentPetworth, Pulborough, Fittleworth, BillingshurstWest SussexA fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and forward-looking team who have a passion to develop new and innovative products. The company produce health and skincare products and supply to the leading retailers in the UK.They are currently looking for a Production Operative to join their production team based at their main manufacturing site.They are offering an excellent basic salary, overtime and….. you will never have to buy skincare products ever again!Basic Duties and Requirements:

  • Working in a hygienic manufacturing environment, weighing and preparation of raw materials
  • Manufacturing gels, emulsions and various cosmetics products where you will need to follow precise set methods and specification to quantities of 50 kg - 400 kg so physical strength is required
  • Ensuring strict hygiene, housekeeping, protocols, company rules and procedures are being met, this is a clean room environment
  • Working in a strictly controlled quality environment as you would within the healthcare / medical sectors
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment essential, 2 years plus is required.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills to follow strict instructions and communicate with colleagues
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Good statistical and numerical ability
