Job Description

CMA Recruitment Group is supporting an expanding manufacture and distribution business in their recruitment of a Financial Controller to work in Petworth, West Sussex. This position has been created due to an ongoing period of growth and expansion and will take responsibility for the companys finance function.What will the role involve

  • Reporting to the Directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting for multiple cost centres;
  • Developing reporting to support future business decisions and ascertain the viability of new business opportunities;
  • Act as business partner to Board members and the Operations team;
  • Be responsible for statutory returns and liaising with auditors.
    • Suitable Candidate:
  • Candidates will ideally possess and understanding of manufacture or distribution and have worked within a rounded SME position as Finance Manager/ Financial Controller/ Head of Finance;
  • Possess strong analytical skills and be looking to further their commercial involvement in the business;
  • Candidates who are CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified are encouraged to apply although this is not essential;
  • A working knowledge of Sage will be advantageous.
