Job Description

POST: TRAINING SUPPORT ASSISTANTRESPONSIBLE TO: TRAINING SUPPORT LEADEdgeview Homes is a leading care provider in the West Midlands, Staffordshire and Worcestershire. We do not have a website, because we have a proven record of providing excellent care for our clients and therefore receive each and every referral based on our reputation alone. We are a growing modern care business and we need like-minded individuals to join our excellent team.We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, hardworking and with excellent empathy to join our team to provide a service to clients with learning disabilities, enduring mental health and behaviours that challenge.The role we are advertising for is a Training Support Assistant.Potential candidates will be required to hold the below relevant skills and experience;

  • Experience with e-learning platforms
  • Able to demonstrate using Microsoft office packages
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • You must be able to meet tight deadlines as and when required
  • A full UK driving license and their own vehicle is essential
  • Ideally you will have relevant training qualifications or advanced training in social care and health to QCF level 3 or above and/or Level 3 in EAT (Education and training)
  • Previous team leader and/or management experience would be an advantage
  • The hours of work will be 40 hours per week, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday which can vary at times depending on the business needs.Salary is £20,000 per annum which is salaried.You will also be entitled to the following benefits as part of the role;

  • Mileage paid at a competitive rate of 45p per mile
