Job Description

A Supplier Quality Manager position has become available within a business that supplies advanced technologies to some of the most exciting organisations within both Automotive and Motorsport. On-site they not only produce volume products using modern-daymanufacturing techniques, but they invest heavily into prototyping that customers across the globe travel to get involved with. Located near the Wolverhampton area, this company is working through a considerable period of growth and is offering a competitivestarting salary, sociable working hours, and personal development programs for the right engineering professional.Supplier Quality Manager duties include -

  • Review suppliers, ensuring capabilities are aligned with the correct quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Analyse performance data and document information gained correctly.
  • Develop positive relationships and work closely with procurement to help track performance.
  • Use performance data to perform current and new supplier audits.
  • Monitor quality performance (scorecards) and manage CARS and SCARS while implementing preventative measures to deal with these quality issues.
  • Manage and coordinate Per Million (PPM), problem-solving on time, cost recovery, and warranty indicators.
  • Implement the correct quality techniques, helping to ensure that the business reaches its annual objectives.
