Job Description

We have a vacancy for a Receptionist to join our team based in Filton, Bristol, initially on a temporary contract to cover maternity leaveYoull be part of a reception team of 3, working 30 hours per week Monday to Friday covering shifts on a 2 week rolling roster working:Week 1: 7am to 1pm and Week 2: 1pm to 7pm (when you are finishing at 7pm youll have key holder responsibilities to lock up/alarm the office when you leave)Youll be the first point of contact for all visitors and staff to the building providing an excellent first impression, so will need to have a professional manner and excellent customer service and communication skillsYou must have previous Reception experience in a similar role in a corporate environment and ideally you will hold an SIA licence, (but we would be willing to provide SIA training after successful completion of your probationary period for the right candidate)You will also:

  • Receive high profile visitors who need to be dealt with efficiently, ensuring minimal delay in them meeting their host or attending their meeting
  • Maintain a friendly and professional service with a strong emphasis on providing the highest levels of customer care
  • Perform basic administration tasks
  • Provide information to visitors in a concise and friendly manner
As a successful Receptionist within our team you will need:
  • Experience of working in a similar role within a corporate environment.
  • A professional manner with excellent customer service skills
  • Good working knowledge of reception administrative duties
  • PC skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility and team-working skills
