Job Description

Regional Learning & Development Manager - £43,000Were looking for an inspirational and innovative Learning & Development Manager to join the team at Brandon.This is role works in partnership with another Regional Learning & Development Manager and reports the to Head of Talent.Youll be the lead in your area for ensuring that all Brandon staff receive high quality and timely training to enable them to safely and confidently provide the highest levels of care to the People we Support. Youll also be responsible for developing creativeand effective ways to keep learning current through a variety of learning interventions.Key responsibilities include:

  • Working as a strategic partner to the organisation as subject matter expert in learning.
  • Delivering first class induction opportunities across the organisation that provide new staff with an excellent experience of their start of employment.
  • Manage and develop the operational trainers including regular auditing and learning observation
  • Identify opportunities to introduce professional qualifications and development pathways.
  • Ensure digital learning solutions are aligned to strategic objectives and produced in a way that meets the changing demands of the business.
A successful Regional Learning & Development manager at Brandon will be:
  • CIPD L3 or above qualified or eqiuivalent
  • Knowledgeable about CQC Mandatory training standards
  • Qualified to deliver training on Moving & Handling of people, Basis Life Support, infection control, safeguarding, medication awareness.
  • Able to demonstrate experience of managing a Training Delivery Function & developing and leading a team
  • An Experienced Coach that holds a relevant qualification or be working towards one
  • Able to demonstrate experience of strategy development and delivery
  • A curious, self-aware, inspirational learning professional.
