Five Education is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to work with children across Key-Stage 1, 2, 3 & 4 for an all-ages specialist provision in South Gloucestershire. Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate strong behaviouralmanagement skills, empathy, and the ability to communicate and relate to young children and support them with a calming presence. This role offers a salary of £79-£85 per day (dependant on experience) and flexible working hours between 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, with potentially 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) for the best-suited candidates. Responsibilities and duties: Working with the staff collectively to help the children develop and remain on the daily schedule Supporting the students social and emotional development Helping the student learn self-regulation techniques, though a lot of guidance and support will be required Keeping the children engaged Developing a relationship with the students and their caregivers Working with challenging behaviour Essential Criteria: At least 6 months of experience in an education-based role A flexible and resourceful approach Strong communication and can showcase empathy You will be able to demonstrate positive reinforcement. Strong behaviour management skills. Experience in THRIVE or Team Teach (preferred) Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa). Two recent child-based references and relevant DBS/Police checks.
