We are a thriving and culturally diverse community that encourages resident participation and helps staff and residents to work together to make Cowley a better place to live.It’s a friendly place to work - with a committed team who enjoy seeing the difference they can make to people living in a local community, including vulnerable and older residents.About the roleThis part-time role is important to our residents, as attractive, safe, well-tended grounds make a bit impact on their happiness and standard of living.Working to a planned schedule, you’ll take care of the general maintenance and upkeep of the estate’s grounds, gardens, lawns, hedges and planting.When gardening activity is reduced in the low season, you’ll help out the wider caretaking team with their support to residents.About you

You need demonstrable experience of gardening and groundskeeping, including grass cutting, planting and maintenance.

You will be able to create and execute maintenance schedules and maintain garden machinery.

You’ll be able to prioritise tasks and work on your own initiative.

You will be a good listener and communicator who is happy to deal directly with residents and the public, as well as colleagues.
