Job Description

Are you committed to improving outcomes of vulnerable adults and their carers Are you looking for a challenging role within a dynamic serviceWe require a deputy manager for a busy integrated hospital discharge team.Location:Greater ManchesterPay rate will be£33/Hr.Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Our aim is to provide a social work service to adults who have been discharged from an Acute Hospital setting or in some Cases stepped up from the community through Integrated Hospital DischargeTeam which provide a similar service but at different bases.
  • The post holder may be required to assess patients/ customers in their own homes and other care home settings.
  • Provide positive leadership, support and advice to social work staff.
  • Assist the Discharge Team in ensuring the delivery of effective services for adults through the promotion of high standards of practice in assessment, care planning and duties.
  • To carry out the statutory duties of the Directorate in relation to adults in accordance with Directorate policies and procedures.
Reed are now offering a joining bonus of up to £250 for Qualified Social Workers. Terms apply.Essential Requirements:
  • SWE Registered
  • Must have at least two years of post-qualifying experience working with adults in a statutory setting
  • Mist have experience of doing a management/supervisory role within social care
  • Be a car driver
