Junior Costs DraftsmanConnect Legal are currently recruiting for a Junior Costs Draftsman to join our client, a well-known, expanding company based in Manchester. Due to continued growth my client is now looking to add to their fantastic team on a full time, permanent basis. My client also offers a flexible office and remote working basis.Responsibilities:Preparing breakdowns for negotiation· Drafting Bills for assessment· Preparing Costs Estimates and Schedules· Assisting in cost budgeting process· Negotiating successful settlement of costs· Archiving files when required· Liaising with external Cost Lawyers when necessary· Assisting Costs Lawyer with day to day activities and tasks as required· Maintaining spreadsheets capturing relevant data· Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requestedPlease note: For this role you MUST have at least 18 months’ experience of working within a similar role, have good working knowledge on Costs Law, exposure to costs negotiation experience, ability to draft bills, able to work independently and as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.This role is Monday - FridaySalary - £23k - £28k Required skills
