  • This is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to build a career within Project Management, with support provided and training towards managing your own portfolio of projects.
  • Full training can provided by the customer, so they are interested in various experience and backgrounds.
  • The Junior Project Manager would join a specialist team within an IT / Development environment here in Cardiff, working towards having responsibility for managing the hands-on successful delivery of projects and solutions to customers, ensuring they aredelivered within budget, meet customer requirements and timescales, as well as adhering to appropriate quality standards.
  • This role will include direct interaction with the technical team and test teams, with a view to ensuring projects are fully controlled against time given and that the product reaches their clients "fit for purpose", easy to use and fully up to standard.
  • The role will also include identifying work that is required from discussions with clients, then working with the delivery team to ensure planning and scheduling of work is efficient to maximise delivery for the client and ensure revenue levels are maintainedfor the business.
Please note that whilst the customer operates a hybrid working model, we anticipate that the successful candidate will be required to work from their office in Cardiff for the most part initially, whilst training and gaining knowledge of the role and its responsibilities.We anticipate that some of the responsibilities for this exciting new role would be as follows:*assessing and developing business requirements with clients and internally.*building towards the project management of complex web-based projects.*delivery services such as training and ensuring quality control of the product, as well as assisting clients to ensure a smooth delivery.*ensure projects are delivered in a structured, well communicated and timely manner.To make your working week as enjoyable and productive as possible, itd be great to find someone with a passion for a career in Project Management, being comfortable and experienced with some of the following:*a background in areas such as IT or Business Management (though our customer could also be open to other backgrounds too).*prior IT experience working on web-based or IT projects would be highly beneficial.*any experience / knowledge of gathering business needs and creating workable solutions.*experience / exposure to business process and / or technology implementation.*knowledge / experience of Agile best practices and methods would be advantageous.*any experience and understanding of development technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, Javascript and HTML / CSS would also be great.Should you feel that you have the passion and enthusiasm to succeed within this exceptional opportunity for a Junior Project Manager, then please contact Ieuan Savage for further information and details.For the purposes of the Conduct Regulations 2003, when advertising permanent vacancies we are acting as an Employment Agency, and when advertising temporary / contract vacancies we are acting as an Employment Business.IT Sector£18-23,000 per annumCF3 1AA
