Job Description

Our Futures Division was set up in January 2022 to accelerate our growth plans. It is focused on anticipating and delivering future growth opportunities arising from two key trends in the construction industry: sustainability and a new wave of industrialisationof the construction processes .Initial focus has been on delivering faade products and solutions adapted to the needs of the fast-growing offsite and modular construction markets in the UK. Ibstock Futures will target both the new build and re-cladding markets,with products suitable for a wide range of residential, commercial and mixed-use applications.Installation / Site Project ManagerReporting to: Operations ManagerFuturesRole Summary:In this business critical role, you will provide support to the Futures Project team specifically the new Slip Factory DevelopmentProject Arion in Nostell, Wakefield.As our Site Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

Health and Safety responsibility for the project and contractors
Project definition and Specification,
Defining / delivering projects scope and goals.
Project planning, cost analysis and budget management
Project Management including CDM requirements
Project commissioning
Tracking project performance
Running, planning and scheduling project timelines
Coordinating project staff
Resource planning and allocation
Quality assurance
Carrying out risk assessment
Managing project administration, including all documentation
Meeting budgetary objectives
Reporting regularly to senior management
Managing client relationships
Project evaluations and results measurement
Management of tendering and bid processes
Preparation and presentation of capital applications
Contract definition and construction
Leading the planning and implementation of projects

As our Site Project Manager, we would like you to have:A recognised degree qualification, preferably in mechanical, civil, structural or process engineeringDemonstrable experience of the planning and management of complex engineering projects, including CDM regulationsProject management experience in a manufacturing environment, Prince2 (or equivalent) qualifiedExperience of, and commitment to, working within an environment of continuous improvementISOH or NEBOSH CertificationDont meet every single requirementStudies have shown that some people from minority groups are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification.
