Job Description

A leading Engineering business in Norwich are looking to hire a Multi-Skilled Service Engineer, with a experience carrying out Electrical Installation work, to support with various off-site projects located across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation of mechanical & electrical equipment on customer sites.Responsibilities will include:

  • Install, manufacture & modify various mechanical & electrical equipment
  • Fault find and rectify quickly & efficiently
  • Record all data from site & relevant report forms
  • Supervise & coordinate contractor activities on site, ensuring installation work is carried out correctly
  • Assure all works are carried out to a high standard & in a safe manner
  • Plan works for site requirements and materials are optimised for installation work.
  • Produce site works RAMS and ensure all other Health and Safety documentation is in place
  • Maintain site diary detailing activities and key events during the course of your activities
  • Accurately record test data
  • Ensure the site, equipment and vehicles are kept clean, maintained and orderly.
  • Demonstrate good inter-personal and communication skills
    • In order for your application to be considered, youll need the following personal qualities and attributes:
  • 3 years of relevant/similar site work within a customer focused environment.
  • Good report writing skills
  • Health and Safety awareness.
  • Multi-disciplined with an Electrical Bias
  • Knowledge of the Water Industry (desirable)
  • Apprenticeship served in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline.
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 & 3 qualification in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline.
  • Electrical Wiring Regulations.
  • ECS Card (Graft Card) or equivalent
