Job Description

An opportunity has become available to join an exciting business in the leisure industry as a Retail & Admissions Supervisor. You will use your warm & friendly disposition will enhance each visitors day out! - ensuring their experience meets company standards. You will supervise and manage a team, ensuring a high standard of customerservice & that sales targets are met. Day to day, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the department.Duties to include:

  • Supervise, coach and mentor a team, ensuring they meet customer service standards and sales targets.
  • Creating a rota that meets operation needs & is in line with wage budgets.
  • Overseeing recruitment, induction & training of new staff, ensuring they achieve high levels of performance.
  • Dealing with complaints in accordance with the companys complaints policy, actively seeking feedback & taking action to continually improve the department.
  • Creating a warm & welcoming atmosphere, providing excellent customer service, & actively promoting products to maximise sales.
  • Ensuring that all products are consistently available and displayed at all times, subsequently maintaining stock levels.
  • Maintaining product, sales & stock information effectively via appropriate software, ensuring accuracy.
  • Checking, signing for & recording deliveries as appropriate.
  • Handling cash & taking responsibility for a float.
  • Ensuring correct call handling procedures, collecting & counting floats, & dealing with refunds.
You will have/be:
  • Excellent supervision & leadership skills, with the ability to coach a team to deliver to high standards & meet targets.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a warm & welcoming approach.
  • A proactive sales approach with the ability to upsell products and meet targets.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work against budgets & adhere to cash handling procedures.
  • Well organised with the ability to work with speed, accuracy & quality.
  • Previous experience in a similar supervision position, within a retail/customer service environment is desired.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity working 37.5 hours per week, with days being changeable depending on business needs.
