Job Description

REED HR are delighted to support our client a large multi-site organisation in NI who wishes to recruit a People Development Partner on an initial 6 month contractThis is a great opportunity to join an innovative and forward-thinking team focused on developing a workplace culture of learning and living their organisational value of Enhancing PotentialYou will provide specialist People Development perspective to design and deliver People Development interventions across the organisation to support performance and potential. Working in partnership with a Business Partner or Design Partner to address people-developmentopportunities you will deliverindividual interventions orplay a part in a collaborative effortacross the organisationThe Role - You willbe allocated specific projects of work and scope out other opportunities plus develop your understanding of the operating environmentYou will become the design hub for the development of key areas blending experience in the design and delivery of development interventions which includethe mechanics of the design,approaches and of delivery channels / mechanisms to ensure the interventionis a successOn projects Lead on the design and delivery of a development intervention from start to finish Lead on the delivery of an intervention that has been pre-created by colleagues Facilitate the design of an intervention and hand over to other colleaguesto implement Work with external partners in the undertaking of people development activityDevelop a close relationship with leadersand become a trusted advisorproviding expertiseon Continuous Professional Developmentand colleague L&DSupport leaders on best practice and techniques to ensure frameworks, activities and approaches are established&maintainedWork with Organisation Designto develop a Leadership Framework Design a specification for the delivery of a development intervention which will be sourced and delivered by external partners Designand delivera piece of a strategic development framework addressing the development of managerial disciplines Workalongside a team to design and deliver an away-day and deliver specific coaching interventions Develop, track, report on and deliver to action plans Lead on the development and delivery offrameworks which set out an organisational approach Consultwith stakeholdersand worktogether to agree and deliver a preferred course of actionCriteriaDegree or relevant qualificationeligible for Chartered Membership of CIPDOR A Degree in a business related discipline toincludean element of either L&D, Leadership Development, Executive and Business Coaching, or HR Management andcommitmentto securing Corporate Membership of CIPD or other relevant external professional body by examination and experienceExperience in a L&D Leadership and Management Development or organisational development role in a large complex organisation.This must include direct personal involvement as a specialist advisor in relation to the design and delivery of development interventionsExperience of developing innovative and flexible People Development action plans and solutionsSound knowledge of best practice and trends in professional and personal developmentEvidence of havingdeveloped and delivered models, frameworks, action plans, and programmes of work inpeople developmentEvidence of delivering innovation in the way an organisation focused on people development
