REED HR is delighted to support our client in the Education Sector who wishes to recruit an experienced HR Support Assistant for theirResourcing Team. This will be a hybrid role on an initial temporary contract with the possibility of extensionResponsible to the Section Leader, for the provision of a professional, flexible and efficient People and Culture support service, to include agreed administrative dutiesProvide clerical support to include: operation of the databases and system and overseeing end to end administrative tasks specific to the section in which they are basedProvide clerical/secretarial support across the full range of departmental activities to include maintaining both manual and electronic filing systems, acting as a point of contact to internal and external customer enquiries, particularly enquiries specificto their section responding or redirecting(to include telephone, email, face-to-face or post) and supporting events by setting up equipment required for meetings and interviewsPrepare and format a wide range of documentation such as reports, letters, agendas, minutes and end to end administrative tasksOperate and adhere to general processes in accordance with internal controls and best practice, including challenging non adherence/compliance to procedures and informing appropriate contact within theDirectorateSupport financial procedures including budget monitoring, raising and processing requisitions, invoices and claims including the use of on-line systems and/or operating sales/purchase and associated ledgers for the input and output of financial data in accordancewith internal control policies and proceduresPerforming direct customer facing support, ensuring work conforms to agreed quality standards, guidelines and proceduresContribute to ongoing projects in the department (i.e. projects which continually review processes with the purpose of defining/refining procedures to improve effectiveness)RESOURCINGAs Support Assistantin the Resourcing Section will support innovative, agile, modern and flexible selection tools and methodologies. Youwill provide direct administrative support to the Resourcing Section Leader and the Resourcing Partners in the deliveryof recruitment exercises. Youwill use a variety of systems and databases including Corehr, and a range of bespoke databases and spreadsheetsEssential Criteria:A good standard of numeracy and literacy as demonstrated by qualificationEvidence of IT literacy by qualification or work experienceExperience of working in an office environment in a clerical capacity, to include updating and maintaining databases, dealing with both internal and external customers by telephone and in personWork-based experience of using information technology including significant experience of the use of excel, e-mail, internet and word processingExperience of dealing with confidential information and recordsEvidence of working under pressure to strict deadlines with minimal supervision, working on own initiative and solving problems by finding innovative solutionsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact in a pleasant and confident manner within a team and with a range of internal and external customers
