Job Description

The role of the Quality Manager is to support the business by ensuring they fully understand the requirements for the service provided and have a sense of responsibility towards potential and existing clients. The key objective is to help preserve the companysreputationby ensuring that our services can drive sustainable growth.Ensuing the company meets consistent standards. They develop and implement quality control measures to ensure the results are what they should be, inspecting at various stages in service delivery and writing reports on their findings to take action whereneeded.Relationships:DepartmentQualityReports intoDirectorDirect reportsTrainer / IQADuties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all functions pursuant to best practice standards and governmental regulations / legislation are established and implemented in a consistent manner.
  • Complete client TNA and develop bespoke training models, to support learner development.
  • Mentoring /Coaching Lead Trainer, to support development needs.
  • Develop training material to support the delivery of training activities.
  • Develop and deliver commercial training/workforce development activities (AEB)/L&M/CI/mandatory training/ specific modules on apprenticeships (HR/Recruitment Resource etc)
  • Annual review of quality and training policies & procedures
  • Trainer due diligence / DBS checks
  • Working closely with Compliance Manager and Lead Trainer on ensuring we deliver all programmes to a high standard that exceeds the requirements of all stakeholders.
  • Monitor, measure and continuous improve delivery across all provisions through the quality activities process.
  • Provide a high level of internal and external Customer Service when responding to the needs of colleagues, employers and learners, signposting to the relevant department where necessary.
  • Quality Activities
  • Developing robust quality control plans
  • Mentoring / Coach IQA’s, & Lead Trainers and other staff and providing guidance and feedback to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Overseeing all service development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
  • Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis as and when required.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines
o OTLA / deep diveso Standardisationo SAR/QIPo IQA - all qualificationso Lead on EQA visits
  • Guide and support colleagues to improve quality and performance.
  • Solve quality concerns, overcoming challenges to the implementation of solutions.
  • Act with integrity by being open and honest.
  • Always put the Learner/Client at the heart of every task.

  • Measure, manage and monitor quality objectives.

  • Operates diligently with professionalism considering a wider picture.
  • Seek continuous professional development opportunities such as self-reflection, gathering information, producing personal development plans, and keeping up to date on organisation regulation/ legislation.
