The Role of Territory Account Manager:
  • Home based, the new Territory Account Manager will cover the North West of England - Staffordshire, Cheshire, Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cumbria and North Wales.
  • Planning and working to an effective journey plan that maximises customer contact time
  • Regular meetings with existing and prospect customers to build strong relationships
  • Identifying customer opportunities that will be met by your products and securing sales orders
  • Planning every sales appointment in order to achieve objectives
  • Driving sales growth and strong partnerships
The Person For This Territory Account Manager Opportunity:
  • We are looking for a high calibre Sales Representative from a garden trade supplier and established relationships with garden centre buyers.
  • Home location in Staffordshire, Cheshire, Manchester, Merseyside or Lancashire
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative
  • Experience of working in the garden centre trade
  • Knowledge of dealing with independent retailers
  • Strong merchandising skills with the ability to create eye catching displays
  • Skilled at fact finding, questioning and verbal clarity
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills
  • Empathy and the ability to build strong working relationships
  • An intelligent, articulate and numerate Sales Representative with great communication skills would be rewarded by a challenging and enjoyable working environment with significant opportunity for further progression.
