Job Title: Regional Sales ManagerReports to: Regional Business ManagerDepot: Northwest basedOverviewThe role requires you to manage, recruit and develop a Team of Account Managers, WDM and BAM to drive the Company Strategy.Main Duties Deliver the agreed Budgeted Gross Profit from all members of designated sales team. Achievement of New Business, Wine and Signature Brand targets as well as Retention of Existing customers and increasing their monetary spend. Ensuring Sales and Marketing costs from all direct reports come in under 20% of the total margin they generate. Achievement of personal margin target from New & Existing customer base. Plan and deliver agreed Gross Profit budget within region. Manage sales costs within 20% cost base. Day to day management, training and development of direct reports. Improving the efficiency of account managers - new business targets, margin driving categories, spend per customer, focus brand targets and minimising attrition. Attend joint visits at key opportunities to gain New Business and secure Existing customer relationships. Manage monthly sales meetings. Conduct annual appraisals and quarterly reviews with direct reports. Recruitment of new account managers. Managing the relationship and profitability of key regional accounts. Achievement of personal margin target from retained customer base. Representation of team internally. Representation of the company to the team. Working with Depot Managers to deliver Net Profit budgets. Produce and present of accurate information to Company directors. Awareness of all competitor activity.Knowledge and Experience: Excellent leadership and development skills. Commercial experience (on-trade preferred).
