The RoleOur client is an established design engineering consultancy with more than 35 years of expertise. They specialise in offering design and drafting services for the pressure vessel, heat exchanger, and storage tank sectors.They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with leadership skills to manage client interactions on a daily basis, drive new business development, and lead a team of designers.Whats in it for you• Competitive salary • Performance based bonus• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays + 3-day Christmas shutdown• Company pension• Flexible working and relaxed atmosphereWhat youll do • Engage in engineering design for pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, and related equipment.• Prepare and verify calculations based on applicable design methodologies.• Review and approve fabrication drawings created by company designers.• Oversee design projects from inception to completion, liaising with clients at all stages as necessary.• Develop client relationships.
