Job Description

I am partnering exclusively with a fantastic business based in Newton-Le-Willows, in their search for a HR Manager. Reporting into the Managing Director you will be responsible for putting together and delivering a HR strategy, driving a high performingculture.Below is an overview of the responsibilities you will have:

  • Developing strategic plans and objectives for HR to support delivery of the overall business strategy
  • Implementing a training and development programme for the organisation which promotes the ongoing development of knowledge and skills
  • Designing an employee engagement programme which increases commitment and engagement levels
  • Developing, supporting and engaging managers in the application of high quality people practices
  • Implementing a rigorous recruitment and selection process to recruit highly skilled and capable people who drive the business forwards
  • Developing HR metrics which provide high quality information necessary to improve productivity and performance
  • Implementing the latest HR legislation and best practice to ensure the wellbeing of people and protection for the business
  • Developing HR Policies and procedures that support the delivery of high-quality people management practices throughout the organisation
  • Developing people practices that support the achievement of a high performing culture
This is a unique opportunity where you will be able to put your own stamp on the role and bring innovative thoughts to the table. Strong communication skills are essential in order to build effective working relationships with both internal and externalstakeholders.
