Company Details And Job Overview:Based on the outskirts of Newton-le-Willows, this company are one of the largest, independent, and privately-owned companies providing specialist services within the UK. The company has a turnover of circa £250 million and they employ over 7000 staff. Theywant to employ a Credit Controller on a 12 MONTH CONTRACT, however, there is an 80% chance this job will become permanent. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in credit control, and be happy to work 37.5 hours per week.Your New Role As The Credit Controller:• Control and manage assigned customer accounts, ensuring customer payments are received in a timely manner.• Issue customer statements and invoices via email• Make and receive customer telephone calls.• Reply to customer emails.• Assist in the resolution of customer queries to eliminate payment delays.• Reporting on debtors’ status / overdue accounts• Consult with other Company Centres to deliver a best-in-class service to customers.• Assist with general admin duties within department.• Observe and comply with all company policies and procedures.• Any additional fair and reasonable task requestsExperience & Qualifications Required To Apply:• Strong understanding of Credit Control process and compliance• Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills• Positive, initiative-taking attitude to collections• Persistence and determination• Ability to work on own initiative to prioritise workload. • A team player• PC literate with experience using SAGE and Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and TeamsSalary And Benefits On Offer:• Salary on offer is up to £26,000• Hybrid working - after 3 months (possibly sooner) working for the business• 22 days annual leave (+ Bank Holidays), plus 1 extra day for every year you work for the business, capped at 25 days• Company sick pay - Up to 2 weeks (discretionary)• Company pensionIf you think you have the experience required, then please call Kenton Black Finance operate across the UK as a market leading recruitment partner, specialising in the attraction of finance talent across both permanent and interim requirements.
