Job Description

Our prestigious Peterborough based client who is The regions largest independent sales, parts and service dealer for construction and agriculture is looking for a Service Engineer to join their busy expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team within a niche market where you can develop your career.You will be expected to carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work on anything from a digger to a generator and approach your work with an open minded positive attitude. You will carry out your work in the companies new high spec service station or on-site. ( an equipped service vehicle is supplied )Your duties will include

  • Service and repair of equipment as requested in the workshop and on site.
  • Controlling the use and return of all parts required for any repair.
  • Collating sufficient information on job cards to ensure the correct invoicing information is available.
  • Lease with customers to promote the company and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Upholding a good level of tidiness of the workshop, when used and the yard.
  • Ensuring a good level of maintenance and cleanliness on your service vehicle.
  • Ensuring a good level of safe working and uphold the company health and safety policies.
  • Dealing with any other situations that may arise as required.
    • The ideal person will be have a background in working with heavy machinery, agricultural machinery or commercial type vehicles.
