* Varied Group Role* Perfect for a technically strong Accountant* Must be Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)Financial Accountant (3-5 Month Interim Assignment) Our client is currently looking for a Group Financial Accountant or Technically strong Financial Controller to join them on a 4-6 month contract. There is the potential for this position to become permanent for the right person. The business is based in Peterborough and allows for a mix of both onsite and home-based working.Ideally, you will be on a short notice period (one week or immediately available) and have a financial accounting background. Your new roleThis role will involve assisting the Financial Director with the following:Job Duties:* Group year-end preparation* Preparing Subsidiary Accounts* Balance sheet reconciliations* VAT returns* Statutory accounts preparation* Nominal ledger* Prepare period, quarterly and annual financial packs* Period end accounts* Reporting to groupWhat youll need to succeed:* ACCA/ACA qualification * Ideally experience working within a US-owned organisation* Financial Accounting experience* Large corporation backgroundWhat youll get in returnYou will be working for a globally operating organisation with multiple UK divisions.
